LP5 - Labelling point

There are two arming devices types of labelling point:

·        At the user’s request – each Print Request is treated as a manual print command, a label will be printed immediately. Typically used for manual labelling with individualized labels with additional data entered or collected from external source during requesting a printout, e.g. collecting, measuring and labelling waste or excessive material.

·        At the start of the order – each Print Request is treated as arming the printer with a label or multiple labels. Actual printout is triggered by e.g. photocell on a line

Multi Order support. If the labelling point has the Multi Order flag “on” you can start multiple orders on this labelling point simultaneously. Typically, At the user’s request type labelling points are set to Multi Order support. It is not possible to handle Multi Orders with arming devices At the start of an order.

There can be Data Form defined for each labelling point separately. Data Form is used to enter manually or import automatically additional data required to generate Print Request.
