In PackOS, you can define the hours during which your factory operates.

Setting timezone and week start

From version 3.8, in addition to selecting the Timezone for the Plant, you can also choose the day of the “Week start”. All can be set up in Signals and properties section.

 

Setting Work Hours

let's do this step by step:

  1. Choose Settings from the left sidebar.

  2. Select Work Calendar in the Plant configuration section.

  3. First, in the Day of work section, set the time when a workday starts at your factory.

  4. Now, add a new shift by clicking on the blue plus icon.

  5. Two text fields will appear, Name and Code, in which you can enter the name and an id number of this shift.

  6. You can now save your shift by clicking on the green Save button.

 

Creating a New Schedule

let's do this step by step:

  1. Select Settings from the left sidebar.

  2. Click on the Work Calendar in the Plant configuration section.

  3. Select Schedule located next to the Shifts button.

  4. Now, click on the blue plus sign button. The Schedule window will appear.

  5. Start configuring your schedule. Decide on what days the schedule should be active and how often it should repeat (for example, every week). You can also edit the start and end times for each production line separately.

  6. When you have finished configuring your new schedule, just click on Save to retain your changes.
